6th Grade Japanese Inspired Printmaking

Fourth Grade Art: Comic Strips, Trading Cards, and Google Classroom

The fourth graders are working on comic strip and trading cards based on their own super heros. Links and pictures of super heros from cultures around the world are provided for a flipped classroom experience in Google classroom.  Below, are some images from Google classroom. 8th Grade Art: Sculptural Teapots

Coil construction with rose lid. Organic forms with slab construction. 8th gr. students are creating sculptural teapots based on inspirations from the Kami Teapot Foundation ( Artful Teapot Collection  see screenshot belo). Students used slabs, coils, and pottery wheels to create their forms. Three handled teapot. Spikes with slab construction.

7th Grade Art: Stop Motion Animation and Green Screen App iPad Mashup

7th Graders are combining the Doink green screen/stop motion animation and iMovie apps to create famous painting story vignettes complete with sound effects and narration.
