Screenshot from Netflix Party App The Netflix Party App is a Chrome extension that allows you to stream a movie simultaneously via a link. I used this to set up a weekly movie night for my middle school students. It has a live texting chat feature that allows students to safely chat with one another during the movie. I have also been using with my advisory to share videos and lead discussions based on the videos.  Screenshot of Goose Chase Goose Chase is scavenger hunt/challenge game app for phone and tablets. The scavenger hunts are set up on the Goose Chase website. This can be used for team building, learning challenges, brain break, or a social event. It is free and allows for 3 teams to be set up.

Above and Below: 4th Gr. Distance Learning-Name Art Collage Inspired by Matisse Distance learning is the latest challenge in teaching. Using two digital tools, Google Slides and Screencastify, can simplify content delivery. Videos from the Tate Modern Museum in London, links to Met Museum, etc. are also used to help inspire student to use primary authentic art for inspiration. I create Screencastify videos for students to review after our Zoom classes. Screencastify is free for 5 minute videos. I also used it to record my live art ed online conference presentation in March. I then insert the videos into the slide show. The slideshows are embedded in a distance learning spreadsheet schedule for middle school, Powerschool, and Google Classroom for lowerschool. My school has adapted content delivery for each grade level. Below, are a few examples.

4th and 5th grade students are creating 3-D birds and bugs based on a biome. After studying the different biome students draw a bird/bug that has attributes for survival in that biome.
