5th Grade Art: Calavera (sugar skull)-Masks, Pop-up Cards, and 3D Constructions

7th Grade Art: Pixlr and Photoshop Comic Stylized Self Portraits

7th Graders have finished their Van Gogh style still lifes. They are now working on comic stylized self portraits using Pixlr and Adobe Photoshop graphic programs. They are learning how to use many program tools and techniques such layers, lasso, bucket fills, easer, paint brush, etc.

6th Grade Art: Dia de los Muertos Digital and 3D/Maker Ofrendas

6th Grader are starting a Day of the Dead altar (ofrenda) project commemorating an important relative or person. Some students are working with Tinkercad, 3D printer and the laser cutter. Other students are using Canva, Lucid Press, Pixlr, Adobe Spark (new to students this year!), and iMovie to create webpages, digital collages, and slideshows. 4th Grade Art: Mixed Media-Bug's Life, Photography and Drawing

The students turned in their photos on Google Classroom. We will be using using Google Classroom as a place to post assignment resources, video, and art history/cultural links. After printing the student photos to 11"x17", students are collaging their bug drawing and details. This student added an acorn hotel for bugs! Rainbow pathways lead to a bug house. Bug hotel.
