4th Grade Art: Mixed Media-Bug's Life, Photography and Drawing

The students turned in their photos on Google Classroom. We will be using using Google Classroom as a place to post assignment resources, video, and art history/cultural links. After printing the student photos to 11"x17", students are collaging their bug drawing and details.

6th Grade Paper Brain Models

As my school joins the maker and stem movement, more and more of collegial conversations focus on student projects as problem solving. The need for students to understand and to manipulate materials is imperative. One such project incorporates all of these ideas. It is the origami paper brain model by Martin Pyka.
